Partner/Video Producer & Editor/Content Marketer

Tumbleweed Film Festival 2009 -2015
Non-Profit Short Film Festival in Okanogan County, Washington, and Osoyoos, British Columbia, dedicated to connecting international independent filmmakers with local wineries, breweries, and small businesses to promote cultural activities and economic growth in the region.

Marketing Director/ Film Curator /Content Creator

  • Formed the Tumbleweed Film Festival as a 5013c organization and obtained support from local businesses through fiscal sponsorships and donations.
  • Built the Tumbleweed brand and created regional awareness, resulting in the Tumbleweed Film Festival becoming a household term.
  • Created the graphics, video, and copy assets that promoted annual live film events. 
  • Partnered with Seattle International Film Festival to curate short films and coordinated with local venues to ensure a great time and safe event for attendees.
  • Planned and managed event logistics i.e.; set up,  ticket sales, live event guest appearances, staging, and evening agendas.

King County Television 2003-2009
Local government TV station that produces award-winning video content to create an informed and engaged constituency through helpful and entertaining television programming.

  • Wrote, directed & edited creative short stories related to county politics for screening on King County Television.
